The Department of Economics invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor position (post-doc) in Public Economics. 

What to expect

The Department of Economics offers an active and internationally oriented research environment. The successful candidates’ research focus should be in the field of Public Economics. You will join the faculty of the Department of Economics and are expected to provide a good fit to its current research environment, as well as to cultivate excellence and contribute to the research, teaching, and service activities in the department.

What you have to offer

Applicants should have 
  • a solid academic qualification (PhD or equivalent) in Economics (or a related field),
  • high-quality research output (job market paper(s) and/or publications in international peer-reviewed journals) related to the field of Public Economics,
  • a commitment to excellence in teaching including the willingness to use multimedia teaching methods,
  • experience in the acquisition of third-party funded projects is of advantage, and
  • ability to enlarge and deepen the network of contacts to the international academic community.
Knowledge of German is not required but an asset.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4,752.30 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
