Institute for Transport and Logistics Management
Part-time, 20 hours/week
Starting October 01, 2025, and limited until July 31, 2027
 
You want to deepen your interest in the area of supply chain management while gaining your first teaching experience? This position opens doors to either an academic career or a later switch to a career in business.

What to expect

  • Teaching: You will be planning and teaching courses and holding exams
  • Student support: You will be available to answer students’ questions and act as an advisor for bachelor’s theses and as a co-advisor for master’s theses
  • Organizational and administrative support: You will be organizing and evaluating teaching activities, planning exams 
  • Building up a personal network: You will be using the post-doc phase to establish yourself as a researcher and expand your own professional network

What you have to offer

  • Experience in teaching in the field of Business Analytics
  • Experience in the supervision/support of students
  • Completed a Ph.D. at a leading University in operations research, business computing, mathematics, computer science or a related field 
  • Strong knowledge of Operations Research methods
  • Excellent Programming language skills (e.g. in C, C++, Python …)
  • Proficiency in English

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €2,466.45 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
