What you have to offer

  • We invite researchers from the area of tax accounting / business taxation.
  • We seek candidates who conduct high quality research using quantitative methods with strong research potential to publish in the top-tier accounting journals.
  • Candidates are expected to demonstrate research excellence with a strong fit to the Institute’s research methods and a willingness to contribute to joint projects.
  • Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree or anticipate receiving a PhD degree in the current academic year.
  • Candidates need to provide an academic research paper (“job market paper”), preferably single-authored, that has been published or is publishable in a leading academic accounting journal.
  • Candidates are expected to demonstrate active involvement in the international academic community, for example, through collaboration with coauthors, research visits at other universities, or presentations at leading academic conferences.
  • Candidates should demonstrate international academic experience.
  • Candidates are required to have the ability to teach in German and/or English and should commit to excellence in teaching.
  • Candidates should be willing to use multimedia teaching methods.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4.932,90 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
