What we have in common is that we all strive for excellence in all our research, teaching and third mission activities. We are currently ranked number 1 in Europe in terms of research output in management accounting (BYU accounting ranking 2023) and have won numerous teaching awards. We engage in many third mission activities, such as conducting company projects and organizing conference and events, where we bring together international researchers, high profile practitioners, and ambitious students.

Our expertise is at the intersection of management accounting, general management, and strategy. Typical topics that we examine are:
  • Management Control Systems

In our research we use different quantitative methods, such as surveys, laboratory experiments, and archival data. Our teaching ranges from large scale introductory courses, to small scale interactive project courses.
