What to expect

You support the Managing Director of the European Finance Association (EFA), a professor at the institute, in strategic, organizational and administrative tasks. -
A key task is the organization of the EFA's Annual Meeting, which takes place at a different European university each year: o You independently lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the EFA’s Annual Meeting, welcoming approximately 750 international finance scholars and professionals. o You manage the full academic program lifecycle, including peer-review coordination, program scheduling, and liaison with program chairs, speakers, and presenters. o Your responsibilities include managing finances, application processes, program creation, communication and PR, and you serve as the interface to the EFA's management board as well as all project and conference partners. -
You develop and lead initiatives to strengthen the EFA community and brand, including communication strategies, community-building efforts, and engagement activities.
What you have to offer

University degree -
Several years of experience in managing research projects, research communication, and organizing scientific conferences -
Excellent English skills (Level C2) -
Professional knowledge in using ConfTool -
High sense of responsibility, proactive, independent working style -
Proven experience in an international environment -
Flexibility and willingness to travel

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €1,562.50. Depending on your profile and qualifications, a higher salary may be negiotiable. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
