Full Professor of Accounting, part-time 25% (pursuant to § 99 UG 2002)
WU is currently inviting applications for the position of a full professor[1] of Accounting at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing (part-time 25%, duration of employment is 4 years). Candidates are expected to have established an international reputation as a top researcher in their field.

Qualifications
The successful candidate is expected to have established a high international reputation as a researcher in the field of accounting and business taxation and to have outstanding qualifications. Candidates’ qualifications will be assessed in the context of their academic age on the basis of the following characteristics:
- A solid academic qualification in accounting and business taxation (e.g. PhD, habilitation)
- An outstanding international reputation for high quality scholarship in the area of accounting and business taxation, commensurate with academic age, especially by having demonstrated the ability to publish in top-tier accounting journals;
- Demonstrated ability to successfully apply for, and lead large, competitive research projects;
- Excellent qualifications as supervisor and mentor of doctoral students;
- Strong track record regarding third mission and outreach;
- Excellent teaching qualifications;
- International experience;
- Leadership qualities;
- Gender and diversity management skills.
Expectations
The successful candidate is expected to perform teaching activities at PhD/doctorate level, with a special focus on the Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT). Full professors (part time, 25 %) are expected to teach two weekly credit hours.
We also expect the new professor to participate actively in the Institute’s research agenda, and to take an active role in third mission activities.
