What to expect
- Conduct research: You will actively contribute to the institute’s research projects on organizational change and transformation (www.wu.ac.at/cmmd) and further develop your own ideas.
- Teach and support courses: You will independently plan and teach courses.
- Support organization and administration: You will help fulfill the institute’s administrative responsibilities.
- Writing a dissertation: You will be investigating your research topic and spending a third of your working hours on writing your dissertation.
- Work as part of a team: You will join a team of committed researchers who collaboratively advance research projects.

What you have to offer
- Academic degree: You have a diploma/master’s degree in business or social sciences that qualifies you for enrollment in a doctoral program at WU.
- Passion for research: You are highly motivated to pursue an academic career and aim to publish your work in reputable scholarly journals.
- Relevant expertise and experience: You bring initial knowledge in areas such as transformation, organizational development, change management, or the psychology of change. Ideally, you also have some first work experience in these fields.
- Research methodology: You have solid training in quantitative (including the use of relevant software such as R, Mplus, Stata) and/or qualitative research methods.
- Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: You are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats. You are also able—and willing over time—to teach courses in both English and German.
- International experience and language skills: You can provide evidence of international exposure during your studies (e.g., studying abroad, English-taught courses, or coursework in an international context). Strong English and German skills are a must.
- Digital skills: You are confident using standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, video conferencing tools) and can quickly learn new systems.
- Engagement: You work independently, take initiative, and act as a team player.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €2.786,10 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on job-related prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
